2003년 즈음 계속 반복해서 들었던 노래.. 가사가 정말 좋다... 

정말 명곡이라고 생각함

캐나다에 가서 처음 한달 정도 동안 별로 새로운 사람을 만나기도 귀찮고, 
무엇보다도 캐나다의 자연이, 
토론토 외곽지역의 거주지 밀집 구역에 위치했던 조안나 아줌마의 집 주변 풍경이
너무나도 마음에 들어서 하루에도 몇시간 씩 그냥 길을 걷곤 했다. 
아는 사람이라곤 한 명도 없는 곳에서 TV 앞에 앉아 어쩌다 내 마음에 드는 노래가 
흘러나오기라도 하면 잘 들리지도 않는 영어 가사를 얼른 최대한 받아적어
인터넷에 검색해서 노래 제목을 알아내곤 했었는데,, 참 감회가 새롭군화 
캐나다 시절에 정말 좋은 노래를 많이 발견한 것 같다. 
특히 그 때 많이 들었던 음악들을 지금 다시 들어볼때면 당시의 기억이,
정말 정말 아름다웠던 업타운의 거리들과, 여유가 느껴지는 사람들, 
손을 뻗으면 닿을 것만 같은 하늘과 시원한 바람, 
캐나다 국기가 커다랗게 걸려있는 현관 앞에서 나를 보며 웃고 있는
조안나 아줌마와 밥 아저씨가 생각난다.
